Village Life

Mill Rise village hosts a number of facilities and features to make your life easier and more comfortable.

The appointed village manager is available to residents 9am until 5pm (Mon – Fri) and the care provider staff are available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, meaning that assistance is never far away.

With access to the new Milehouse Primary Care Centre and pharmacy you can visit your doctor and pick up your prescription without leaving the village. You will also have access to an on-site hairdresser, enjoy the delightful coffee shop and eat in the superb on-site restaurant. You can even pick up your weekly groceries from the supermarket nearby.

A scooter ‘store and charge’ and ‘assisted bathing’ are just two more examples of the many services on offer for residents.

Communal areas to enjoy - a lounge area and conservatory, where you can enjoy the company of other residents, take your friends and relatives who are visiting you, or just sit back and enjoy the view of the landscaped gardens. For those of you who are interested in gardening, raised plant beds and greenhouses are available for you to look after.

For computer users, Mill Rise hosts a wireless internet connection so that you can surf the net and keep in touch with friends and relatives, whenever you feel like it.

The Mill Rise village has good transport links to the town centre with bus stops close by.
With everything close at hand you will feel safe and secure in your own home.
